What we do

Susan is a conductor.
A conductor teaches people how to move.
This is called Conductive Education.

Susan comes to your home, your school, or your care home.

You practise everyday things. Like standing up. Walking. Using your hands.

You say what you are doing out loud. Then you count. One, two, three, four, five.
Counting helps you start a movement and finish it.
Who it is for

Children and adults.

People with cerebral palsy.
People who have had a stroke.
People with Parkinson’s or MS.
People who have had a brain injury.

If you are not sure, ask us. We will tell you honestly.
What happens first
-
First, a phone call. It is free. It lasts about 15 minutes.

Then Susan visits you. This is called an assessment visit.
It takes up to 90 minutes.

Bring someone who helps you every day, if you can.

Together you choose a few goals. Susan writes them down for you.

Then Susan visits you regularly. Usually once a week.
What it costs

The phone call is free.

The first visit is £180.
After that, a one hour visit is £75.

You can pay after each visit.

Some people get help to pay. Ask us and we will explain.
Being safe

Susan will always ask before she helps you move.
You can say stop at any time.
